Preparing for the weekend

The wheels are in motion for the productive weekend ahead at The Ice Pit, and besides not securing a hotel room, I'm feeling very prepared for this opportunity. I have been spreading the word about the festival to many climbers through Adventure Rock, and have been getting a lot of excited responses and hope to see many familiar faces. I have submitted a handful of photographs for a slide show that Don Anderson is presenting about the history and development of The Pit, and am excited to see my photos added to a growing collection of images throughout the years. In addition, Dean Einerson will be presenting a slide show about his climbing and mountaineering experiences. Both slideshows will be happening at the Ramanda Inn, and there will be door prizes given away for a lucky few attendees. Hope to see you all there. MATT
